Beginning in the fall of 2008, I'll be offering group lessons in addition to private lessons. Group lessons,
where students are well matched in age and level, can provide an additional element of peer support,
example, and awareness of flute playing that can enhance the experience. In addition, with today's economic
climate, many students are unable to afford private lessons. Group lessons, if well matched, can provide
similar benefits to private lessons, while being affordable to more students.
Students may come to me either as a group or pair, or individually, in which case I will do my best to
match each student with an appropriate lesson partner or group. Group size will be limited in order to allow
time for work as a group in addition to some individual time with each student.
